Awaiting our time to restablish our residency in the Coffee Creek Bush Man Cave

Our first Monday Home Evening was spent at the Deer Creek Paac Center.  We watched our Granddaughter Lily perform with her school chior.  They were amazing!  Our Granddaughter Lily is on the front row, blond hair, with the microphone in her face.  She did a great job singing!
This was the program they gave us as we entered the auditorium.
After the cold winter spent in Palmyra, NY, this program warmed our hearts!
  • Proverbs 25:20

20 As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather, and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.
    •  16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdomteaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.  Colossians 3:16

    • My Granddaughter in Dallas also sent me a tape of her singing, "Theres a great big beautiful tomorrow"!

Wednesday, 29 April 2015,  Today I drove the two oldest grandchildren to the bus stop.  I was going swimming at the "Y" and could do this before I went for my morning swim.  So we went in Grandpas ol' Toyota Pickup that has clutch drive...and hurts my knee to drive..."Oh, but it has so much less miles on it than the car we drove in Palmyra."  Yah, Yah, so I am doing the clutch changing.  This is a selfie of us waiting for the bus.  Have a great day grandchildren...love you!
Last weekend the church broke ground for the Star Valley, Wyoming Temple.  I loved this temple photo.  It took me back to my childhood days.  This area will be beautiful with the new temple.  "Happy Trails To You"!
I have a new friend at the Hansen household.  I bought doggie biscuits for Maya, the family dog.  I am always in trouble for feeding her table scraps.  Thanks to the Bithells and their dog, I now have good treats for this friend and convert I have obtained since returning home.  Maya looks as old as me in dog years!
Our Leif had an asthma attack at school during all the rain...scarred Grandpa and I.  He is doing much better but had to be on steroids and breathing treatments.  I have held him the last couple of evenings as he has his treatments.  It is hard to be a Grandma sometimes!

Grandpa Arthur decided to take a load of our plants down to our home today.  Our renters, the Sorenson's, are moving today.  I prefer to wait till they have vacated so chose to go to the OKC OK Temple today.  I gave up my morning swim and went to the 9 AM Session.  It was so good to see everyone.  I felt so comfortable being back in those walls.  I Love the Temple!
It is going to be very odd to be back in our home.  We built this home over 35 years ago.  Yes, Grandpa Arthur has to mow the roof...Ha!  This is The Bush Man Cave!  It is built into a hill with the front open and the rest underground.  There is an Atrium in the center that lets light into the middle of the home.  I think I will get settled and then spend my days on the porch in the evenings, before the humidity and heat force us to remain indoors.  I told Grandpa Arthur to just say "Palmyra" when I complain of the heat!  We were so...so...cold last winter.  Our daughter had this arial view taken in 2009.  I will put a welcome mat out at the front door.  Just know that I need time to learn to use the kitchen again, living in the Palmyra Inn did not improve my culinary skills.  We are totally not into a bed and breakfast mode, sad but true.
Where man sees but withered leaves,
God sees sweet flowers growing.

Last evening we went to our son Ryan's where his wife made a yummy spinach spaghetti dinner that was to die for.  Here is a picture of our rambunctious grandchildren.  Our son Todd and his children were visiting over the weekend too.  Fun times.  We hope each of you had a joyful weekend.
Our Fast and Testimony Sacrament Meeting was good.  We ended up sitting on the very back row.  The whole overflow and chapel were full.  This is only the third week this ward has met.  They have had over 200 at both meetings we attended.  The vineyard is growing.
Brother Bushman and I are worn out from unpacking and trying to locate items in our home.  After two other families lived here, and moved items around, it may take us months to feel settled.  We don't have the strength to do a full days work anymore.  Oh well, we awake every morning and have the present of a new day.  We wish you all a good week.  I'm an arbitrator in the Indexing program and we are to arbitrate all week....as many as we can.  I will be lucky if I get unpacked this week let alone do some family search.  I hope all you arbitrators will do my share too please!
Hug's to each of you,
Arthur and Gene
